N.B TRAINING ON SUNDAY JULY 26th HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO LARGE SWELL Surf2Heal was established in 2008 to enable Children with Autism to experience the trill of Surfing. From very small beginnings in 2008 Surf 2 Heal rapidly expanded and successfully hosted Irelands first ever Surfing Camp for children with autism in August 2008. Over 40 families and children from all corners of Ireland came to Garrettstown, West Cork to enjoy a wonderful week of Surfing with a fantastic crew of both land & water based volunteers. It truly was a magical week of surfing, fun, family and learning.

History of Surf2Heal

Surf 2 Heal Kerry in conjunction with Kingdom Waves Surf School will be running from 10th to 14th of August in Banna Beach. It is guaranteed to be a great week so come along. Volunteer or support this organisation as it brings the first surf camp for kids with Autism to Kerry this summer. Mission statement At “Surf2heal” we aim to introduce children on the autistic spectrum to the experience of surfing. We hope to achieve this by providing a well –planned service run by a trained and enthusiastic team.
Surf 2 Heal Kerry will not only provide surfing, there will also be beach activities and a chill out /sensory room for any child that needs a break from the surf.
